Dia De Los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican and Hispanic holiday where instead of mourning the dead, you celebrate the lives they had. Children bring toys and adults bring tequila and or jars of etole. Some families build altars in their homes with christian crosses and pictures of family members.

Flowers all over the cities for the festivities.

While at Comic Con in San Diego earlier this year, I came across a cute booth, Skeletown. Very talented illustrations where the story line and characters are based on the day of the dead. Check out some of their cute merch.

Feliz Dia de los Muertos. Que en paz descanse.
