Patrick Nagel

Patrick Nagel captures the contemporary woman and has made his mark in 20th century graphic design. His work captures the fashion of women with simple form and bold colors. Still iconic and still very fashionable.

We keep looking to the past for today's design inspiration. What is the look of our time? Not to say the past isn't great, wasn't great, it's just that is it original if we use elements from the past in our designs today? I strive to be different and original but I find it difficult when the past was soo great. I guess being true to yourself and to your aesthetic is the only way to define "good" design. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Also the meaning of this beauty.
